Child Safety Standards Policy

Our Commitment

Heey There is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all users. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), child grooming, child trafficking, or any activity that exploits or endangers minors.

Protecting children is one of our highest priorities. We are committed to complying with applicable child safety laws and cooperating with law enforcement and recognized child protection organizations, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), where required by law.

1. Prohibited Content and Conduct

Heey There strictly prohibits users from:

• Creating, uploading, transmitting, requesting, promoting, or sharing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
• Grooming, manipulating, coercing, or attempting to exploit a minor for sexual purposes.
• Soliciting sexually explicit images or videos from anyone under the age of 18.
• Engaging in child trafficking or facilitating exploitation of minors.
• Impersonating a minor or misrepresenting a child's identity for exploitative purposes.
• Using the platform to recruit, lure, or communicate with minors for unlawful or exploitative purposes.
• Promoting or encouraging any form of child sexual exploitation or abuse.

Any violation of these standards may result in immediate removal of content, permanent suspension of the account, and referral to appropriate authorities.

2. Zero-Tolerance Enforcement

Heey There maintains a zero-tolerance approach toward CSAE.

When we obtain actual knowledge of content or behavior involving CSAE or CSAM, we may:

• Immediately remove the offending content.
• Suspend or permanently terminate the responsible account(s).
• Preserve relevant evidence as required by applicable law.
• Restrict future access to the platform.
• Report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), or other appropriate regional authorities where required.
• Cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.

Users who violate this policy may also face civil or criminal penalties under applicable law.

3. Reporting Safety Concerns

Heey There encourages every member of the community to help keep the platform safe.

Users can report:

• Suspected child exploitation
• Inappropriate conversations involving minors
• Child grooming
• Illegal images or videos
• Attempts to solicit minors
• Any content that may violate this policy

Reports may be submitted through:

• The in-app reporting feature available on user profiles, messages, and content.

Reports are reviewed as quickly as possible by our Trust & Safety team.

Knowingly submitting false or malicious reports may result in enforcement action against the reporting account.

4. In-App Reporting Mechanism

Heey There provides users with accessible in-app tools to:

• Report user profiles.
• Report messages.
• Report inappropriate content.
• Report suspected child exploitation.
• Submit safety concerns or feedback.

5. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

If Heey There becomes aware of suspected or confirmed CSAM:

• The content will be removed or disabled as quickly as reasonably possible.
• Access to the responsible account may be suspended immediately.
• Appropriate evidence may be preserved consistent with applicable law.
• Confirmed CSAM will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), or another legally appropriate authority where required.
• Additional action may be taken to protect users and assist law enforcement.

Heey There does not permit storage, sharing, transmission, or distribution of CSAM under any circumstances.

6. Compliance with Child Safety Laws

Heey There complies with applicable child protection laws and regulations in jurisdictions where it operates.

Our compliance program includes:

• Procedures for reviewing reports of suspected CSAE.
• Removal of prohibited content.
• Reporting confirmed CSAM to NCMEC or other appropriate authorities when required by applicable law.
• Cooperation with lawful requests from law enforcement.
• Ongoing review and improvement of child safety practices.

7. Account Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in one or more of the following actions:

• Content removal.
• Warning.
• Temporary account suspension.
• Permanent account termination.
• Device restrictions.
• Referral to law enforcement.
• Reporting to NCMEC or other appropriate child protection authorities.

Severity of enforcement depends upon the nature of the violation.

8. Child Safety Point of Contact

Heey There has designated a Child Safety Point of Contact responsible for responding to notifications relating to Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), coordinating internal enforcement actions, and communicating with Google Play, law enforcement, and appropriate child protection organizations when necessary.

9. Protecting Minors

Heey There continually works to improve user safety through platform safeguards that may include:

• User reporting tools.
• Account moderation.
• Content review.
• Safety investigations.
• Enforcement against abusive behavior.
• Ongoing improvements to trust and safety systems.

10. Updates to This Policy

Heey There may update this Child Safety Standards Policy periodically to reflect changes in law, regulatory guidance, technology, or platform safety practices. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the most current version of this policy.
